We currently operate four Suger stores with locations in Biddeford, Portland + Kennebunk in Maine along with our latest in Newburyport, Mass.

We are seeking gentle kind souls that love working with angels of all types and ages, creating warm and lasting relationships and helping with styling and sizing suggestions for our hand-crafted clothing line and maker products.

Maintaining at least 30 hours per week is ideal, weekend availability is preferred.

Candidates should have a passion for merchandising and/or experience in yoga, healing, sustainable practices or a retail clothing or gift shop.

Our ideal candidate will be extremely organized and able to assist anyone who walks through our doors. Attention to detail is the most desirable trait.

Responsibilities

◦ Provide superior customer service to every angel, whether in person or over the phone.
◦ In this role, you are a key point of contact and the face of our brand. We rely on you to be an ambassador of our line - including both our own clothing and the artisan makers we feature.
◦ Process transactions, returns, exchanges with care while maintaining stewardship of our brand and assets.
◦ Maintain inventory accuracy
◦ Create compelling product presentations + adjust as necessary to ensure displays look appealing + full as products sell.
◦ Incorporate new product and color stories to ensure the store looks fresh and encourages frequent visits.
◦ Exemplary communication + relationship-building skills. Leverage your own unique skills and talents to engage with customers, while keeping the focus on the angel being served.
◦ Passionate + knowledgeable about our product line + story; with an insatiable curiosity for learning.
◦ Self-motivated to learn about other artisan makers we feature. And inspired to share information + stories with our angels.
◦ Community resource - knowledgeable about the community - restaurants, events, activities. Eager to share suggestions relative to customers’ interests.
