The Greater Portland Immigrant Welcome Center serves as a hub of collaboration that strengthens the immigrant community through language acquisition, economic integration and civic engagement.

we are grateful that Maine is a wonderful welcoming state. because of this our thriving and growing immigrant population is largely from African nations. so many of them have had to flee horrifying and repressive situations. their strength and bravery is astounding and inspires us endlessly. 

supporting this wonderful cause is one of the ways in which we champion the Black Lives Matter movement. 

so far, with the wonderful help of our community of angels we've been delighted to donate over $2,500.
